Description
Laundry-4U is looking for an energetic person to ensure that every customer that comes to our store has a wonderful experience. We are a family-owned business that is aiming to improve the experience of doing laundry for all our customers. Our Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, assisting customers when issues arise, performing wash and fold service for customers, and performing cleaning duties throughout the day. Laundry-4U is open 24 hours and ready to serve customers!
Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
Assist customers with questions, concerns, and machine issues as they arise.
Interact professionally with all customers.
Take the extra mile to engage customers.
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Customer Support
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Operational Duties
Perform wash, dry, fold services for customers.
Use workplace technology such as tablets, mobile apps, and POS systems.
Monitor machines throughout the shift, respond when issues come up, and take the proper steps to keep everything running smoothly.
Follow operational procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Expectations
Work independently while being dependable and maintaining strong communication with customers and management.
Maintain store clean by following appropriate cleaning procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum 8 months of proven retail or customer service experience
Strong or proficient computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist customers, answer questions, and maintain a friendly, positive environment
This position requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pulling, and frequent lifting and carrying of laundry, supplies, and other items weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
Weekend availability is required (must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday)
Must be 18 or older.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be dependable and able to work independently
Comfortable interacting with customers of all personalities
Language:
English
Spanish- required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

8-hour shift
11:00PM-7:00AM Required
Requirements
Retail/Customer Service: 8 months
Basic computer skills
Long periods of standing, kneeling, bending, pulling, or frequently carrying objects up to 50lbs throughout a 6.5-hour shift
Communication skills
Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Must be 18 or older
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work independently.
