Events Security Agents

Safehouse is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Events Security personnel in Los Angeles. This is a Part Time on Call, On-Site Position which is an excellent opportunity for those seeking an entry or mid-level role in the security and investigations industry. 

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of various events while maintaining a welcoming environment for all attendees.

The Events Security team is essential to our operations, contributing to the overall safety and enjoyment of events we oversee. You'll be involved in a variety of security tasks that ensure compliance with safety protocols and enhance guest experience. 

We’re looking for experienced security agents to join our team on an on-call basis. If you’ve worked security at concerts, corporate events, festivals, or private functions — and are looking for flexible, impactful work — we want to connect with you!

 

We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $22 to $30 based on Experience.

• Stellar customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and the public.
• Flexibility is a must; event shifts frequently include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and performers.
• Assist attendees with directions & inquiries with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Oversee entry and exit points.
• Maintain clear and frequent communication with supervisor and fellow security personnel.
• Crowd management & crowd flow.
• Perimeter checks & preventing unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Attend to medical incidents.
• Identify and mitigate security risks.
• Document incidents clearly and thoroughly.
• Cooperate with event personnel & law enforcement to deliver a cohesive security strategy.

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card
• First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
• Valid CA Driver License
• Must live in the Los Angeles Area (No travel-in offered)
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments; able to adapt to dynamic situations
• Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly to situations
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement highly preferred
• Must agree to a background check
• Must agree to a drug test
