About this role
Conversion crew performs a variety of behind-the-scenes functions for the
building like maintaining, moving, and storing staging equipment and setting
tables, chairs, pipes & drapes as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: THE FOLLOWING ARE EXAMPLES OF THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS
REQUIRED. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST.
* Conversion from basketball to large-scale concert/event.
* Set up seating arrangements and supporting furniture for concerts, basketball
games, meetings, dinners, parties, and banquets.
* Set up signage, banners, and other conversion responsibilities from one event
or game to another.
* Installation, repair, and removal of arena equipment and seating.
* Respond to requests from management, vendors, guests, event, and team
representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
* Set up and break down barricades, tables, chairs, risers, and stages. Both at
the arena and at offsite locations.
* Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and
management.
* Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment
properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting
management of any mistreatment of company property.
* May be required to operate industrial vehicles such as carts, forklifts,
scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
* Follow all operating policies and procedures.
* Maintain company confidentiality.
* Always maintain a professional appearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative
of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may

High School Diploma/ GED preferred. Two years of experience is preferred. Must
be able to work nights weekends and holidays. Must be able to perform heavy
lifting tasks up to 100 pounds. Ability to operate forklift and warehouse
equipment preferred. Ability to read and understand a tape measure and other
measuring devices, identify between imperial (standard) and metric fasteners,
and handle basic and common hand tools.
