About this role
The MAST (Maritime Asset Strategy & Transformation) Change & Communication Lead
is responsible for leading the change and communication approach across
transformation initiatives in the MAST program, ensuring stakeholders
understand, engage with, and adopt new ways of working successfully.
The role combines hands-on change delivery (communications, stakeholder
engagement, readiness) with establishing best practice (frameworks, templates,
and coaching), enabling consistent and effective change management across the
portfolio.
Essential Functions:
* Change Strategy & Delivery: Lead development and execution of change
strategies and plans, Conduct change impact and readiness assessments,
Integrate change activities within project and programme delivery
* Communications Leadership: Develop and deliver communication strategies and
messaging, Create tailored communications across leadership, management, and
frontline audiences, Ensure consistent, clear “why / what / when / impact”
messaging
* Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation: Facilitate workshops and engagement
sessions, build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels,
Identify and manage resistance and risks
* Leadership & Sponsor Support: Support and coach leaders in effective change
sponsorship, Equip managers with messaging and engagement tools
* Best Practice & Frameworks: Develop and maintain change frameworks,
templates, and playbooks, Set practical, proportionate standards for change
delivery
* Portfolio Integration: Partner with PMO and delivery teams to ensure change
is embedded into governance and plans, Ensure alignment across multiple
initiatives
* Adoption & Measurement: Define and track adoption and readiness metrics,
establish feedback loops and adjust approach as required
* Reporting & Governance: Provide clear, insight-driven updates to leadership
forums, Highlight risks, trends, and recommended actions
* Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and improve change practices
continuously
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Scope: Supporting multiple projects or program, providing change leadership
and communication across a defined portfolio of strategic initiatives.
* Problem-solving: Requires identifying change risks, resistance points, and
engagement gaps, and developing practical, people-focused solutions to drive
adoption.
* Impact: Directly impacts successful adoption of change, business readiness,
and realization of program benefits.
* Leadership: Leads through influence, coaching, and facilitation; acts as a
trusted advisor to project teams and senior stakeholders.

* Knowledge: Understanding of workplace policies and procedures / Familiarity
with team collaboration tools and techniques.
- Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills
* Abilities: Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance / Capacity
to be punctual and meet deadlines / Ability to collaborate effectively with
colleagues and work as part of a team / Demonstrated professionalism in all
interactions and tasks.
Essential/Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Formal change management training preferred (e.g. Prosci)
Essential Experience Required:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in management change, communications, or transformation roles
- Proven ability to deliver change across projects or programs
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and facilitating workshops
- Track record of developing communication strategies and materials
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal
safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires
employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday
through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.
Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft.
Lauderdale area.
Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking
