We are seeking a highly discreet, detail-oriented HR Coordinator with experience in the hospitality industry to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily HR operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the unique dynamics of hospitality staffing, and demonstrates absolute integrity when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required
3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within hospitality, hotels, or service-based industries
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance standards
Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with high-volume, fast paced, with constanct change
Knowledge of scheduling/workforce systems common in hospitality
Bilingual capabilities (a plus depending on workforce needs)
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, not required

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update confidential employee records in HRIS systems with strict adherence to privacy protocols
Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership on HR-related matters
Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
Assist in employee relations matters while ensuring discretion and compliance with company policies
Coordinate training sessions, compliance certifications, and performance review processes
Process employment verifications, background checks, and HR documentation securely
Support payroll coordination and benefits administration while safeguarding sensitive compensation data
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, especially within hospitality environments
Strict Confidentiality Expectations
This role requires exceptional discretion. The HR Coordinator will:
Handle highly sensitive employee data (disciplinary actions, compensation, investigations, etc.) with absolute confidentiality
Adhere to all data protection, privacy, and record retention policies
Exercise sound judgment when managing confidential or escalated situations
Maintain professionalism and neutrality in all employee interactions
Protect company and employee information both inside and outside the workplace
